Welcome to FlatRate Furniture Assembly (“we,” “our,” “us”). By booking services through our website, by phone, or through third-party platforms such as Thumbtack, Facebook Marketplace, or Google, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Services Provided

We provide flat-rate furniture assembly for residential and commercial customers. Services are limited to assembly only. We do not provide electrical work, plumbing, structural carpentry, wall-mounting that requires drilling into studs, or any services requiring certification or licensing.

2. Pricing

All pricing is flat-rate and confirmed after receiving product links or model numbers. Jobs may be adjusted if the customer provides incorrect or incomplete information about the item.

3. Customer Responsibilities

• Customer must ensure furniture has been delivered prior to the appointment.
• Customer must provide a clean, safe workspace.
• Customer must confirm access to the building (elevators, doormen, etc.).
• Customer must provide parking access if required.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee. If the technician arrives and cannot access the location or cannot complete the job due to missing parts, damaged items, or unsafe conditions, a trip fee may apply.

5. Liability

We take every precaution to assemble furniture safely. However, we are not responsible for:

• Manufacturer defects
• Missing or incorrect hardware provided by the manufacturer
• Damage caused by improper use of the furniture
• Damage to walls, floors, or surfaces caused by manufacturer design or customer installation instructions

We do not guarantee weight capacity or long-term durability of assembled items.

6. Payment

Payment is due at completion of service unless otherwise agreed. Accepted forms of payment include Cash, Zelle, and Cash App.

7. No Warranty

We do not offer warranties on assembled furniture. Any warranty issues must be handled with the manufacturer or retailer.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our service means you accept the updated terms.
